Six people, forty-one buildings, one office
We have stayed at six deliberately. Everybody here draws, and everybody here goes to site.
Square Way was founded in 2006 and has completed forty-one buildings: mostly houses, a handful of small commercial projects, and two public commissions we are still proud of.
We do not run a studio where directors sell the work and juniors draw it. The person who sits with you at the first meeting is on the drawings and on site, and that is the main reason we have not grown.
Fees are staged and published. You can stop at the end of any stage with the drawings in your hand, and roughly one client in six does exactly that, usually after planning.

The practice
Camille Ashworth
Registered 1999, founded the practice in 2006. Leads every first meeting and is on site for every project.
Omar Beckford
Technical design and construction administration. The reason contractors stop ringing the office on Tuesdays.
Rhea Salmon
Houses, and most of the planning submissions. Has taken nineteen applications through the authority.
Jerome Case
Surveys, models and the drawing sets. Does the week on site at the start of every project.
